it's amusing to hear about everyone's insecurities... I'm sure when others see your armpits, no one gives them a second thought. My own insecurity is my chin. I have a big scar on the bottom of it from when I was little, and since I'm taller than most, it's one of the first things people ask me about.

Someone wrote that a woman shaving her armpits is an aesthetic offense as someone who smashes down the Sistine Chapel or sets the Mona Lisa aflame. Maybe you should grow them out? I think the little tufts I see in womens' armpits are cute.

Oh my gosh -- I'm glad I'm not the only one who's insecure about my armpits! I wish I had smooth armpits... especially in the summer when the tank tops come out. For that matter, I wish I had skinnier arms... sigh. By the way, Christine, I also wanted to let you know that one of the things I enjoy about your blog is viewing the pictures you put up. I think you take great photographs. I particularly LOVE the nature shots. They feed my soul. :) Thanks for sharing.

I work with this guy who always seems to have a gaping hole in the armpit region of his shirts. It's completely distracting! I can't concentrate on my work, and I feel it's an intrusion in my lifestyle. I also feel armpits shouldn't be discussed so loosely. And, basically, my ass is a banjo.

I love clean shaven armpits, no deodorant. My hair cutter is a beautiful young lady about 30 years old, married. She wears sleeveless tank tops when she works. When she shampoos my hair I can look up at her armpits. She caught me one day and I told her I loved looking at her pits. She was flattered and said her husband does not appreciate the effort she goes through to keep her pits silky smooth. After my haircut she invited me into the back room where she allowed me to sniff and kiss her beautiful pits. I thought I had died and went to heaven.
